NOTE: • The Crankshaft Position Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor look identical (see Figure 1). • When servicing / repairing the vehicle, or during a previous repair, it’s possible to install these sensors in the wrong locations: Locations swapped, or Two of the same sensor installed. • The Crankshaft Position Sensor is located at the lower front of the transmission? • The Camshaft Position Sensor is located at the front of the driver side cylinder head (Bank 1)?  • Refer to the Nissan parts system (FAST or equivalent) to get the appropriate sensor Part Number for the model year vehicle you are working on? • To identify a Crankshaft or Camshaft position sensor that has been removed from its package, compare the sensor to Figures 4 and 5?
